We partner with 28 agencies and initiatives that are helping thousands in our community every year in the areas of health, education, financial stability and basic needs. Our agencies touch 1 in 2 people in our community, which is over 109,000 people each year.
Grants are investments United Way of Central Missouri makes to address immediate, critical unmet needs or to help with emerging needs in the counties we serve. These one-time grants give nonprofits the opportunity to start a new program, enhance an area of service or purchase needed equipment and supplies. Grants are another way we forge new partnerships, find solutions to underlying issues, and mobilize our best resources to fight against our community’s most critical problems.
A Pacesetter is an organization who takes the lead and sets the standard of achievement for others. Pacesetters are a select group of exemplary businesses that take on the challenge to "jump start" the United Way of Central Missouri's annual campaign each year. They set the standard for leadership and community support and are critical to the success of the overall campaign.
