A Century of Service. A Future United.
For 100 years, United Way of Central Missouri has stood beside our community, rising to meet the needs of every generation.
What started in 1925 as a local “community chest” has grown into a vital cornerstone of Central Missouri’s safety net. Through wars, recessions, natural disasters, and global pandemics, United Way has remained a constant, funding essential programs, uplifting neighbors, and empowering local agencies to do what they do best: serve.
We’ve raised millions. We’ve mobilized thousands of volunteers. And most importantly, we’ve united people from all walks of life to build a stronger, more connected community.
100 Years United isn’t just a celebration. It’s a campaign for what comes next.
As we honor our past this year, we’re also setting our sights on the future. 100 Years United is the theme of our 2025 campaign season—a bold tribute to the legacy we’ve built and a call to action for what’s ahead.
This year, we’re rallying our community around a new goal: $2.8 million raised to continue funding programs that meet basic needs, support health and education, and strengthen families throughout our region.
More details on our campaign and ways to get involved will be available soon, but for now, we invite you to look back, reflect, and dream forward with us.
Experience the Story. Join the Legacy.
Throughout this milestone year, we’ll be celebrating with a variety of community events and special moments designed to honor our past, highlight the impact of today, and inspire the next generation of changemakers. Because united is not just who we are.
United Is The Way.
