UNITED WAY OF CENTRAL MISSOURI COVID-19 RESPONSE FUND
Supporting local non-profit organizations serving our community's most vulnerable neighbors
Central Missouri's health and human service organizations are experiencing a surge in demand for services from neighbors and communities significantly impacted by the coronavirus outbreak.
It's critical that these organizations have the resources they need to continue to operate at the highest capacity. Your donation will support the agencies that are ensuring our neighbors can access basic needs in this time of crisis.
Our COVID-19 Response Fund will help our community meet the crisis-related needs and support recovery throughout the United Way of Central Missouri service area; including Camden, Cole, Maries, Miller, Moniteau, Morgan, Osage and Phelps and southern Callaway counties. 100% of donations given to the United Way of Central Missouri COVID-19 Response Fund will be used to serve intermediate and long-term response efforts. Effective June 9, 2020, the United Way of Central Missouri will be awarding up to $150,000 through the COVID Response & Recovery Grant. (Note: The deadline for this grant opportunity closed July 10, 2020.)
United Way of Central Missouri is grateful to every donor who has contributed to our COVID-19 Response Fund. We'd also like to extend a special thank you to Missouri Foundation for Health for their incredible $100,000 gift. Thank you so much for your incredible generosity and for helping our neighbors and our community recover at this time of uncertainty. We are truly grateful!
Note: The CARES Act creates a $300 'above the line' nonitemizer deduction for 2020. Please contact your tax advisor for further information or for any questions. Thank you for remembering the United Way of Central Missouri in your charitable giving.
