You're invited to Power of the Purse 2026!
Power of the Purse brings women together for an unforgettable evening of connection, generosity, and impact. This event supports United Way’s 26 partner agencies, which serve more than 100,000 people across Central Missouri each year.
Hosted by Women United, a dynamic group of dedicated and compassionate volunteers, Power of the Purse begins with an online silent auction launching April 17. Bidders can shop an incredible collection of handbags, from high end designer purses to locally crafted and vintage treasures.
The excitement continues at the live event on April 23, where guests can view and bid on silent auction items in person and bid on exclusive live auction handbags, each paired with a one of a kind experience. These coveted packages will be showcased by local celebrity gentlemen, adding energy and fun to the evening.
Guests can also enjoy a wine pull, jewelry pull, a gift card pull, and other interactive opportunities to give back while celebrating the power of women supporting women.

Something New for 2026
For the first time ever, we are introducing a VIP ticket option. VIP guests will enjoy reserved front row seating along the stage and two drink tickets, making it the perfect way to experience one of Women United’s most exciting events.
General Admission tickets are available, giving you access to an unforgettable evening featuring our purse silent auction, live auction with experience pairings, wine pull, jewelry, and more.
