United Way to Announce Campaign Totals at Victory Celebration

(Jefferson City, MO, October 28, 2016) The United Way of Central Missouri will announce the projected total for the 2016 Community Campaign during the Victory Celebration scheduled for Thursday, November 3 at 8:00 AM at Missouri Farm Bureau, 701 S. Country Club Drive.  The event is free and open to the public. Beginning at 7:30 AM a complimentary breakfast will be provided thanks to the generosity of the event sponsor, Missouri Farm Bureau.

This year’s campaign goal is $1.825 million. “It’s important to note that the campaign results announced at the Victory Celebration are a projection, as actual results for the 2016 Community Campaign will not be finalized until early next year.  This event is our opportunity to recognize the efforts of our wonderful volunteers and thank our caring, compassionate community for their incredible support,” says Ann Bax, President of the United Way of Central Missouri.

Money raised will fund the work of the 28 United Way of Central Missouri partner agencies, programs and initiatives.  The United Way of Central Missouri serves Cole, Miller, Moniteau, Osage, Southern Callaway, Morgan and Camden Counties.
