Helping People Live Their Best Possible Lives
United Way of Central Missouri fights for the health, education, financial stability and basic needs of every person in our community. We partner with 28 nonprofit health and human service agencies that help the hungry, the homeless, the powerless... seniors, babies, adults with disabilities and families torn apart by drug addiction or struggling to put food on the table. We are United in our vision that together we should fight for a better future for all.
Problems. The ones many people don't know how to address... the ones that can't be solved alone. We go looking for them. In our cities, outlying counties, and seemingly innocent neighborhoods. We find every dollar we can to address them. But we are more than just the fundraisers. We are the hand raisers. The game changers.
United we face food insecurity.
United we battle for those affected by mental and behavioral health issues.
United we confront illiteracy and provide mentorship programs.
No matter the obstacles. No matter the odds. We surround our community's most critical problems. And we fight. We fight for our neighbors, our co-workers, our families and our friends. We fight for those who need a voice and those whose names we do not know. Because change doesn't happen alone.
We have one life. To live better, we must LIVE UNITED.
