2017 United Way of Central Missouri Community Support Grant Recipients
United Way of Central Missouri Board of Directors has approved the immediate opportunity for up to $120,000 in Community Support Grants.
Community Support Grants are investments United Way of Central Missouri makes to address immediate, critical unmet needs or support emerging needs. Grants are open to any health and human service 501(c)(3) meeting the criteria of the grant—not just United Way partner agencies. These one-time grants give nonprofits the opportunity to start a new program, enhance an area of service or purchase needed equipment and supplies. Community Support Grants allow United Way to connect with community partners and strengthen efforts to fight for the health, education, financial stability and basic needs of every person in our community. Grant funding must be utilized to further this mission and address a need in the area of food, shelter, education, employment, health, behavioral health or transportation.
Applications will be accepted from 501(c)(3) health and human service agencies in the United Way of Central Missouri service area (in part or all of Cole, Moniteau, Osage, Miller, Camden, Morgan and southern Callaway counties) and meet specific prequalification questions outlined in the grant application.
Application deadline is March 29, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. CST.
Grant recipients will be announced no later than June 1, 2018.
